Activity 1- Unit 7: Present perfect with YET, ALREADY, JUST

Function:

  1. Use JUST to express that an action has happened in the very recent past.
  2. Use ALREADY to express that an action happened sooner that it was expected.
  3. Use YET to show that an action is going to happen, but it hasn’t happened. Use in negative statements.
  4. Use YET / ALREADY to ask questions to check if an activity has happened.
  5. Present perfect is used to talk about experiences in life. It links the past with the recent present. We are more interested in the result rather than the action itself.
